Sweetheart Salad
Ingredients
- 1 No 2 can crushed pineapple
- 12 c sugar
- 1 12 Tbsp plain gelatine Knox
- 14 c cold water
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp cherry juice maraschino
- 1 8 oz large pkg cream cheese
- 12 pt whipping cream
- 12 maraschino cherries
Directions
- Heat pineapple with sugar
- Add gelatine which has been softened in the 14 cup cold water
- Stir until dissolved
- Add lemon juice and cherry juice and set aside to cool
