Swiss Steak Deluxe

Ingredients

  • 1 12 to 2 lb round steak cut in serving size
  • 12 c flour
  • 1 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 can tomato sauce or tomato soup
  • 12 c warm water
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • noodles or potatoes optional

Directions

  1. Combine flour salt and pepper
  2. Cover with flour mixture Brown steak in oil
  3. tomato sauce water and Worcestershire Cover simmer for 1 hour
  4. Add onion and green pepper
  5. Cook for 30 minutes serve with cooked potatoes or noodles
