Taco Meat Filling
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb ground chuck
- 1 finely chopped green pepper use seeds also
- 1 chopped very large onion
- 1 medium size bottle salsa
- chopped hot peppers to taste
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
Directions
- Cook green peppers and onion in small amount of oil adding ground chuck when almost done
- Stir occasionally until fine and thoroughly brown
- Drain any excess fat
- Add hot peppers and salsa stirring occasionally
- Sprinkle contents of seasoning mix over meat mixture
- Stir well and simmer on medium-low heat for about 15 minutes
- Serve with taco shells and all the trimmings
