Tamale Balls And Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean beef ground
  • 1 lb lean pork ground
  • 1 12 c corn meal
  • 34 c tomato juice
  • 13 c flour
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients with hands and form into small balls the size of large marbles
  2. Drop into sauce and cook slowly for 2 hours
  3. Can cook in a 325 oven
  4. Serve hot from chafing dish Yields approximately 150 balls
