Tamale Casserole

Ingredients

• 12 lb link sausage sliced
• 1 12 lb ground beef
• 1 large chopped onion
• 1 Tbsp chili powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 14 tsp pepper
• 1 12 oz can whole kernel corn drained
• 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
• 1 c milk
• 12 c corn meal
• 1 small can pitted ripe olives drained optional
• 1 c shredded cheese

Directions

1. Brown sausage in skillet pour off fat
2. Add meat and onion cook and stir a few minutes
3. Add seasonings corn tomato sauce and milk
4. Simmer 20 minutes
5. Stir corn meal into meat mixture Add olives
6. Pour into casserole
7. Top with cheese
8. Bake in 325 oven about 40 minutes
