Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 chicken quartered
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 14 tsp coriander
- 18 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp salad oil
- 1 c plain yogurt
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 14 tsp cumin
- 14 tsp turmeric
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp onion juice
Directions
- Skin chicken
- Slash chicken flesh
- Combine ingredients in bowl
- Add chicken turning to coat
- Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight turning occasionally
- Let chicken stand 1 hour at room temperature before cooking
- Preheat oven to 450
- Arrange in shallow baking pan
- Bake 15 minutes turn and coat with marinade
- Bake until chicken is fork-tender
