Tea Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 34 Tbsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 12 c warm water
  • 14 c butter or Crisco
  • 1 14 c milk
  • 4 12 to 5 c plain flour
  • 2 cakes yeast

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in water
  2. Put Crisco milk sugar and salt on stove
  3. Get lukewarm
  4. Add flour
  5. Mix and knead
  6. Let set 15 minutes
  7. Knead and roll
  8. Let stand 15 minutes then bake at 425 for 15 minutes
