Tea Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 12 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 tsp soda
- 12 c sweet milk
- flour about 3 c
- 1 heaping tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla or flavor of choice
Directions
- Combine shortening and sugar
- Add well beaten eggs and milk beat well
- Mix dry ingredients add gradually
- Chilled dough rolls better
- Roll thin cut in desired shapes
- Use flour to make rolled dough Bake on 375 about 8 minutes
- Tea cakes that never grow stale
