Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 12 c butter or margarine
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 12 c sifted flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp nutmeg
  • 12 c dairy sour cream

Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  2. Blend in eggs and vanilla
  3. Add combined dry ingredients alternately with sour cream mixing well after each addition
  4. Chill several hours or overnight
  5. On lightly floured surface roll out dough to 14-inch thickness cut
