Tea House Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 c sugar
  • 6 eggs room temperature
  • 4 sticks margarine softened
  • 4 c plain flour sifted
  • 34 c milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond extract

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  3. Add flour to creamed mixture alternating with milk beating well after each addition
  4. Stir in flavoring
  5. Pour into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan
  6. Bake at 325 for 1 12 hours
