Tempting Drop Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 12 c sifted all-purpose flour
• 12 tsp soda
• 34 tsp salt
• 34 c margarine
• 34 c sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 2 Tbsp milk

Directions

1. Have all ingredients at room temperature sift together flour soda and salt
2. Cream together margarine shortening sugar and vanilla
3. Add the egg cream until mixture is fluffy Stir in dry ingredients until mixture is smooth blend in milk
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet flatten the dough with the bottom of a glass which has been dipped in sugar
5. Bake at 400 for about 12 minutes
6. Makes 5 12 dozen 2-inch cookies
