Texas Brownies

Ingredients

• 2 c flour
• 2 c sugar
• 12 c margarine
• 12 c shortening
• 1 c coffee or water
• 12 c buttermilk
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 14 c cocoa

Directions

1. In a large bowl combine flour and sugar
2. In heavy saucepan combine margarine shortening coffee or water and cocoa
3. Stir and heat to boiling
4. Pour boiling mixture over the flour and sugar in the bowl
5. Add buttermilk eggs soda and vanilla mix well
6. Pour into a well buttered 17 12 x 11-inch pan
7. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until done
8. While brownies bake prepare frosting
