Texas Hot Cocoa Cake
Ingredients
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c water
- 12 c Crisco
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c flour
- 4 Tbsp cocoa
- 12 c buttermilk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Bring to a boil first 3 ingredients
- Sift in large bowl sugar flour and cocoa
- Pour liquid mixture over flour mixture and beat until smooth
- Add remaining ingredients
- Pour in large oblong pan and bake 25 minutes at 400
