Texas Pecan Pie

Ingredients

• 14 c butter or margarine
• 12 c sugar
• 3 eggs
• 34 c molasses
• juice of 1 lemon
• 34 c pecans
• unbaked pastry shell
• pecan halves

Directions

1. Cream butter and
2. sugar
3. Add
4. eggs molasses and lemon juice Beat with rotary egg beater and add pecans
5. Pour into unbaked pastry shell
6. and
7. garnish with pecan halves
8. Bake in hot oven 450
9. 10
10. minutes
11. then reduce temperature to 350 and continue baking 30 minutes
