Texas Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken celery or mushroom soup
  • 10 oz grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 12 c melted butter
  • 1 pt sour cream
  • 12 c finely chopped onion
  • 2 c crushed corn flakes
  • 14 c melted butter

Directions

  1. Cover potato mixture with crumb mixture
  2. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes less time if potatoes are thawed
