Texas Tumbleweed Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c flour
  • 1 12 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 12 c milk
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 lb fresh peaches or 2 large cans drained
  • 2 12 Tbsp flour
  • 2 Tbsp oleo
  • 5 Tbsp sugar
  • 12 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix flour sugar and baking powder
  2. Add milk and whisk together
  3. Melt a stick of oleo in a 12 x 9 or 13 x 9-inch pan Pour batter over margarine
  4. Do not mix margarine and batter Arrange peaches over batter
  5. Blend last 4 ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over peaches
  6. Bake about 60 minutes or until golden brown in a 350 oven
  7. Serve warm with ice cream
