Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef flank steak
  • 13 c teriyaki sauce
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 14 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seed

Directions

  1. Soak 30 6-inch bamboo skewers
  2. Combine teriyaki sauce ginger oil garlic and red pepper
  3. Cut steak across grain into 14-inch thick slices
  4. Place meat in plastic bag
  5. Pour marinade over steak and marinate in bag up to 2 hours
  6. Thread slices on bamboo skewers
  7. Place on rack in broiler pan 3 to 4-inches from heat
  8. Broil 2 minutes on each side
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seed Can substitute chicken or pork
