The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 23 c shortening
- 3 c flour
- 23 c softened margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c chopped nuts optional
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- Mix shortening butter sugars eggs and vanilla
- Blend in remaining ingredients
- For a softer rounder cookie add 12 cup flour
- Drop onto an ungreased cookie sheet Bake 8 to 10 minutes until light brown
