The Best Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

• 1 c soft shortening
• 1 12 c sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 34 c sifted flour
• 2 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400
2. Mix together thoroughly the shortening sugar and eggs
3. Sift together the next 4 ingredients and stir into creamed mixture
4. Chill dough
