The Original Mexican Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 c self-rising meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 c cream-style corn
- garlic powder
- 1 can Gebhardt green chopped chilies
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 23 c salad oil
- 1 c Colby Longhorn cheese shredded
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except cheese
- Make sure sides and bottom of iron skillet are well-oiled
- Pour 12 mixture in hot skillet
- Add shredded cheese
- Pour other 12 on top of cheese Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
