Three Bean Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pkg 10 oz frozen lima beans
- 3 cans about 1 lb 3 oz each baked beans 6 c
- 3 cans about 15 12 oz each kidney beans drained 5 c
- 1 lb Italian link sausages or pork link sausages
- 12 lb cooked ham cut in 12-inch cubes
- 1 medium 12 c onion chopped
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
- 12 c catsup
- 14 c packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 12 tsp dry mustard
Directions
- Heat oven to 400
- Cook lima beans as directed on package drain
- Turn into ungreased 4 12-quart bean pot or casserole Add baked beans and kidney beans
- In covered skillet simmer sausages in small amount
- of water for 5 minutes
- Drain liquid and fry until brown on all sides
- Do not prick sausages
- Cut each sausage into 2 or 3 pieces
- Add sausage pieces and ham to beans
- Stir together remaining ingredients pour over beans and gently mix
- Bake uncovered 1 hour
- Makes 10 to 12 servings
