Three Fruit Jam
Ingredients
- 2 c chopped pears
- 2 c chopped peaches
- 2 c chopped apples
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 6 c sugar
- 1 pkg Sure-Jell
- 5 drops yellow food coloring
Directions
- Combine fruit and lemon juice in 4-quart saucepan
- Cook stirring until it is almost tender
- Stir in sugar powdered pectin butter and food coloring
- Bring to a rolling boil stirring constantly
- Boil for 10 to 12 minutes
- Remove from heat and skim off foam
- Ladle into sterilized jars leaving 12-inch space at top
- Seal with paraffin
- Makes 8 6 ounce glasses
