Tn Pudding Cake With Orange Topping
Ingredients
- 2 c white sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 tsp soda
- 12 c buttermilk
- 4 eggs
- 3 12 c plain flour
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 1 c chopped dates
- 1 c coconut
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300
- Grease and flour tube pan
- Cream shortening and sugar
- Add eggs one at a time beating after each Add flour soda and buttermilk to creamed mixture
- Blend pecans dates and coconut
- Pour in tube pan and bake 1 12 hours
- As soon as cake is done make slits in top with knife to bottom of cake
- Pour Orange Topping over cake
