Toasted Walnut MadeleinesDessert

Ingredients

  • 2 oz walnuts
  • 1 c unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 12 c sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp Amaretto
  • 14 c heavy cream
  • 14 tsp almond extract
  • 1 13 c flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Toast walnuts on baking sheet in oven until lightly browned 5 to 7 minutes
  3. Set aside to cool
  4. Butter miniature muffin molds and place in refrigerator
