Toffee
Ingredients
- 12 lb butter
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 c pure cane sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 to 6 small plain Hershey bars
- 1 12 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Heat over medium heat the first 4 ingredients stirring constantly
- Cook until mixture turns amber colored and begins to emit a light smoke
- This usually takes between 10 or 15 minutes
