Toffee Bars

Ingredients

• 1 c margarine softened
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 12 c nuts
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 c flour
• 1 6 oz pkg chocolate chips or other flavor

Directions

1. Cream margarine sugar and egg
2. Add vanilla and flour Spread on cookie sheet evenly 10 x 15-inch size
3. Bake in 350 oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown
4. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top
5. Spread when melted
6. Add nuts
7. Cut into squares and enjoy
8. Makes 40 bars
