Toffee Squares
Ingredients
- 1 c margarine or half margarine and half butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c chocolate chips
- 12 tsp Crisco
- ground walnuts
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar
- Add egg yolk and vanilla blend together
- Add flour mix together again
- Spread this mixture onto a cookie sheet by pinching pieces of dough and pressing dough to cover the cookie sheet working with your fingers
- Bake 15 minutes at 350 oven
