Tomato-Shrimp Aspic

Ingredients

  • 3 12 c tomato juice
  • 2 env unflavored gelatin
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 14 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of tobacco
  • 12 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 c chopped celery
  • 2 tsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 - 4 12 oz cans shrimp drained
  • lettuce leaves to serve on

Directions

  1. Soften gelatin in 12 c tomato juice
  2. Bring remaining tomato juice to a boil
  3. Stir in softened gelatin
  4. Add lemon juice spices and sauces
  5. Chill until slightly thickened
  6. Add celery onion and shrimp
  7. Pour into two 9 X 5 loaf pans
  8. Chill until firm
  9. Cut into cubes and serve on lettuce leaves
