Tomato Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef cubes
- 2 Tbsp seasoned flour
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 1 10 12 oz can tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
- 6 small whole onions
- 6 carrots cut up
- 4 potatoes quartered
- 14 tsp thyme
Directions
- Shake meat with seasoned flour in plastic bag
- Brown meat in shortening in Dutch oven or stew pot
- Add soup and water cover Simmer 1 12 hours
- Add remaining ingredients
- Cover
- Cook 1 hour or until vegetables are tender
- Stir occasionally to thicken
- Uncover and cook to desired consistency
- Serves 5
