Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 Tbsp oil
• 1 onion chopped
• 1 28 oz can tomatoes
• 1 12 oz can tomato paste
• 12 c water
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 12 tsp basil
• 14 tsp thyme
• 14 tsp pepper
• 1 bay leaf

Directions

1. Brown onion in hot oil
2. Stir in tomatoes breaking them up with a spoon
3. Add other ingredients
4. Cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes
