Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 small cans tomato paste
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 small green pepper chopped
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook onion and green pepper in oil for about 5 minutes
- Add tomato paste and four cans of water stir well
- Add whole tomatoes and break them up in the saucepan then add all your herbs stir well cover and simmer for about 2 hours
- Taste for flavor if not enough add more herbs
- Season with salt and pepper
