Tomato Soup Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c sifted cake flour
- 1 c sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 c raisins
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder mixed with soup
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar well
- Sift flour measure and resift 3 times with spices and salt
- Alternately add dry ingredients with soda mixture
- Pour into greased loaf or cake pan
- Cook at 350 for 45 minutes
- Top with cream icing
