Tortoni Squares
Ingredients
- 12 c chopped toasted almonds
- 4 Tbsp melted oleo
- 1 13 c vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1 tsp almond flavoring
- 3 pt vanilla ice cream softened
- 12 oz apricot preserves
Directions
- Combine almonds oleo crumbs and extract mix well
- Sprinkle 13 of crumbs over bottom of 8 12 x 11-inch pan that is lined with foil
- Spoon half of ice cream over crumbs
- Drizzle with preserves
- Sprinkle with crumbs
- Repeat layers
- Store in freezer
- Cut in squares and garnish with whipped cream if desired
