Triple Layer Mud Pie
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate ready crust pie shell 6 oz
- 2 sq semi-sweet baking chocolate melted
- 14 c Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 34 c chopped pecans toasted
- 2 c cold milk
- 2 pkg 4 serving size chocolate flavored instant pudding
- 1 8 oz tub frozen non dairy whipped topping thawed
Directions
- Pour chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into bowl stir until smooth and pour into crust
- Press nuts evenly onto chocolate in the crust and refrigerate 10 minutes
- Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding mixes
- Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes or until smooth
- Mixture will be thick
- Spread 1 12 cups of the pudding over nuts and chocolate layer in crust Immediately stir half of the whipped topping into remaining pudding
- Spread over pudding in crust
- Top with remaining whipped topping
- Refrigerate 3 hours or until set
