Tuna And Spinach Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg frozen spinach
  • 1 7 oz can tuna fish
  • 1 can French fried onion rings
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 14 c butter
  • 14 c flour
  • 2 c milk
  • onion salt
  • dry mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 c mayonnaise

Directions

  1. Cook and drain spinach
  2. Make cream sauce of milk flour and butter
  3. Season with onion salt dry mustard salt and pepper Blend in mayonnaise and lemon juice
  4. Place tuna fish flaked in 2-quart casserole
  5. Add 12 of the sauce
  6. Mix remaining sauce with cooked spinach and pour over tuna
  7. Top with onion rings and bake in moderate 350 oven for 30 minutes
