Tuna Cheese Souffle Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1 16 oz can English peas drained
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 7 oz can tuna drained
  • 13 c mayonnaise
  • 14 c chopped onion
  • 1 11 oz can condensed Cheddar cheese soup

Directions

  1. Place 4 slices bread in greased 8-inch pan
  2. Combine all ingredients except soup and eggs
  3. Spread evenly over bread in pan
  4. Blend together soup and eggs pour over sandwiches
  5. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until set and lightly browned
