Turkey And Stuffing Bake
Ingredients
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 1 14 c boiling water
- 3 12 c seasoned stuffing crumbs
- 1 28 oz can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 10 12 oz can condensed cream of celery soup
- 34 c milk
- 1 12 or more c cut up turkey or chicken
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen peas thawed
Directions
- Combine butter and water stir until butter melts
- Pour over seasoned stuffing crumbs toss lightly
- Stir in 12 can French fried onions
- Spoon stuffing mixture into a 9-inch shallow baking dish 1 12-quart or pie plate
- Press stuffing across bottom and up sides of dish to form a shell
- Mix condensed celery soup milk turkey and peas together then spoon into prepared baking dish Bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes
- Top with remaining onions and bake uncovered for 5 more minutes
- Serves 4 to 6
