Turkey Breast With Sherry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced boneless turkey breast
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 12 c slivered almonds optional
  • 13 c dry sherry
  • 14 c whipping cream

Directions

  1. Remove turkey breast from package
  2. Blot dry using paper towels
  3. Combine flour salt and pepper dust turkey slices with seasoned flour
  4. Add 2 tablespoons butter in heavy skillet over medium-high heat brown flour dusted turkey slices about 2 minutes on each side
  5. Remove to warm platter
  6. Add remaining butter and almonds if used to the pan
  7. Brown almonds over medium-high heat and turn almonds out onto platter with turkey breasts
  8. Add sherry to pan
  9. Bring to a boil and scrape pan to bring up brownings Add cream boil for 2 minutes
  10. Pour sherry-cream over turkey breasts
  11. Serve immediately
