Turnip Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 lb turnips peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 12 tsp sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 12 c cracker crumbs
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Cook turnips and onion in saucepan in a little water until tender
- Drain and mash
- Add next four ingredients to turnips and mix well
- Spoon mixture into lightly greased 2-quart casserole Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and cheese
- Bake 30 minutes at 350
