Turnip SaladSouthern Style

Ingredients

• 3 lb turnip salad washed
• pinch of soda
• 3 Tbsp olive oil
• salt to taste

Directions

1. Pick a mess of salad from the garden about 3 pounds Wash to remove bugs worms and dirt Parboil in a pot of water after adding a pinch of soda Drain Put in pot and cover with water Add olive oil and salt to taste Cook on medium heat 2 hours until tender Drain and chop Serve
