Turtle Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 34 c melted oleo
- 14 c evaporated milk
- 1 14 oz caramels
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c seedless raisins
- 1 12 c pecans
- 4 eggs
- 3 tsp vinegar
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Beat egg yolks lightly
- Add sugar vinegar and melted butter Then add the spices
- Beat egg whites to a stiff froth and add to the mixture
- Finally add nuts and raisins
- Bake at 300 in a pie crust for 30 minutes
