Tuts Toffee
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 c brown sugar
- 35 saltine crackers
- 1 large pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil Arrange crackers 7 across and 5 down
- Melt butter with brown sugar mix and pour over saltines
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes will bubble and harden when removed
- Sprinkle warm toffee with chocolate chips and spread with a spatula when melted
- Sprinkle with nuts
- Chill until firm
- Peel off foil and break into pieces
