Twentieth Century Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 4 c flour sifted
• 2 c sugar
• 1 c butter
• 1 c milk
• 6 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla or lemon flavoring your choice
• 2 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Cream butter and sugar very well
3. Add eggs one at a time blending mixture well between adding the eggs
4. Add the flour stirring well
5. Add the milk stirring constantly
