Twentieth Century Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 4 c flour sifted
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c butter
- 1 c milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla or lemon flavoring your choice
- 2 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cream butter and sugar very well
- Add eggs one at a time blending mixture well between adding the eggs
- Add the flour stirring well
- Add the milk stirring constantly
