Two-Layer Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 14 c Crisco
  • 1 12 c sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 12 c plain flour
  • 12 c self-rising flour
  • 12 c milk
  • dash of salt
  • 12 tsp lemon flavoring
  • 12 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream butter Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  3. Fold in flour alternately with milk
  4. Add salt lemon and vanilla
  5. Bake in 2 greased and floured cake pans at 350 for 25 or 30 minutes
