Uncle CharlieS DrunkardS Stew

Ingredients
- 1 12 lb stew beef cubes
- bacon drippings or vegetable oil
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can water
- 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut in chunks
- 3 to 4 carrots cleaned and cut in chunks
- 3 onions peeled and cut in chunks
- 2 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 1 c sherry regular
Directions
- Brown meat in drippings or oil
- Add remaining ingredients Cook in oven at 350 for 2 to 3 hours or at 275 for 5 hours
- Use the regular sherry not cooking sherry due to salt content
