Uncle CharlieS DrunkardS Stew

Ingredients

• 1 12 lb stew beef cubes
• bacon drippings or vegetable oil
• 1 can mushroom soup
• 1 can water
• 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut in chunks
• 3 to 4 carrots cleaned and cut in chunks
• 3 onions peeled and cut in chunks
• 2 tsp salt
• 12 tsp pepper
• 1 c sherry regular

Directions

1. Brown meat in drippings or oil
2. Add remaining ingredients Cook in oven at 350 for 2 to 3 hours or at 275 for 5 hours
3. Use the regular sherry not cooking sherry due to salt content
