Upper Peninsula Pastie
Ingredients
- 1 crust for 8-inch pie
- 3 medium diced potatoes
- 18 c diced rutabagas
- 12 c sliced steak
- 14 c pork or other favorite vegetables
Directions
- Place all ingredients on crust then fold and seal
- Dot with butter and make three slits in crust to allow the steam to escape Bake in center rack at 400 for 1 hour
- Serve with brown gravy or catsup
