Vanilla Fudge

Ingredients
- 3 c sugar
- 1 c canned milk
- 13 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 Tbsp white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp butter
Directions
- Stir sugar and canned milk until dissolved heating slowly to a slow boil will scorch easily
- Place cream of tartar on side of pan and dissolve before mixing thoroughly
- Cook slowly to soft ball stage
- Add Karo syrup
- Set aside to cool
- Add vanilla and butter
- Cool to thumbprint
- Beat until smooth
- Add nuts and pour into greased pan
