Vanilla Ice Cream 1923Over 50 Years Old

Ingredients
- 4 c fresh milk
- 1 12 c rich cream
- 12 c granulated sugar
- 14 c sugar extra
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
Directions
- Scald the fresh milk in a double boiler
- Mix the 12 cup sugar flour and salt
- Sift
- Moisten with the 3 tablespoons cold milk
- Add 1 cup of the scalded milk and mix then add to remaining hot milk
- Cook 30 minutes
