Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients

• 12 c sugar
• 2 Tbsp cornstarch
• 14 tsp salt
• 2 c boiling water
• 4 Tbsp butter
• 2 tsp vanilla
• dash of nutmeg

Directions

1. Brandy rum or sherry to taste may be used in place of vanilla
