Variety Torte

Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 4 Tbsp oil
- 3 12 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 c sugar
- 4 eggs separated
- 34 c milk
- 3 c flour
- 2 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract
Directions
- Cream butter and oil with sugar until creamy
- Add egg yolks and flavoring mix well
- Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with milk
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites blend lightly
- Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
- Cool
- Split layers for 6 pieces
