Vegetable-Beef Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
- 34 lb lean ground beef
- 2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 onion chopped
- 12 c chopped bell pepper
- 12 c thinly sliced carrots
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 28 oz can tomatoes cut up
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 12 c thinly sliced zucchini
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 12 tsp oregano
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp cold water
Directions
- In a large saucepan cook beef mushrooms onion bell pepper carrots and garlic until meat is brown and vegetables are tender Drain off fat
- Stir in undrained tomatoes tomato sauce zucchini basil and oregano
- Bring to boiling reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes
