Vegetable Beef Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c chopped onions
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 4 c hot water
- 1 No 3 can tomatoes
- 1 c sliced celery
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 12 bay leaf
- 12 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can mixed vegetables
- 1 c egg noodles
- 12 tsp thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Saute beef and onions in margarine in large saucepan until meat is browned
- Add tomatoes water celery bouillon cubes bay leaf Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper
- Bring to a boil cover and simmer 30 minutes
- Add mixed vegetables noodles and thyme
- Bring to a boil cover and simmer 15 minutes
- Makes 8 to 10 servings
